Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology
holds a panel discussion on the healing herb and its nano-applications
During the cultural season of the Nanotechnology and Advanced
Materials Research Center at the University of Technology, a seminar
was held under the title "Herb Al-Shifa" by Asst. Prof. Dr. Esam
Jassim Al-Khalifawi at the Faculty of Education, Ibn Al-Haytham for
Sciences, Department of Life Sciences, on Wednesday, 5/4/2017. In
the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sukkar, Director of the
Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center, and the heads
of the scientific departments of the Center and the teaching staff.
The researcher discussed in his lecture the importance of the
healing herb in the therapeutic applications of many diseases and
how to cultivate and how to use them in the applications of
nanotechnology through the dissemination of nanomaterials on the
surface as well as the production of nanomaterials through their
development. At the end of the seminar, the lecturer was given a
certificate of appreciation by the Center's management in
appreciation of his scientific efforts in the field of applications
of Bio-nanotechnology.
