Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research
Center at the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled
(Instrumental Analysis in
Modern Laboratories). The lecture was
delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahamood Mahdi Brboti who is a
professor in the Applied Sciences Department on Wednesday,
2/11/2016.
In
the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid A. Sukkar/ the Director of
the Nanotechnology Center, and the Heads of the Departments and the
teaching staff at the center.
During the workshop, the researcher mentioned to the importance of
instrumental chemical analysis techniques and the application of
each type in order to determine which elements or oxides present in
the unknown compound.
Lecturer explained working principle of atomic absorption
spectrometer, spectra devices like FRIT, UV. and gas
chromatography device applications. At the end of the seminar,
lecturer was delivered a certificate of appreciation by the
management of the center in appreciation for his efforts in deliver
all that is new in the development of laboratory work to our
university cherished service.
