Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology agreed with
the petroleum Ministry to accomplish of research projects in the
fields of nanotechnology
In the light of the directives of the President of the University of
Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir about activating Applied
projects that serve the national economy, director of the
Nanotechnology Center/ Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid A. Sukkar received a
delegation of the Ministry of Petroleum /company of the petroleum
products distribution, on the day of Tuesday 7/2/2017 in the
presence of scientific and administrative staff of the center.
It has been held an expanded meeting with the visiting
delegation to the Nanotechnology Centre where they reviewed the most
important industrial problems that suffered by the petroleum sector.
For his part, director of the nano center emphasized on the
readiness of the scientific research teams in the center to provide
scientific support and scientific expertise to projects in which
implemented via nanotechnology techniques and specially in the field
of storage and transport of petroleum derivatives. The petroleum
ministry team included the expert Mohamed Abdul Aziz /
Representative Mr. Director General of Petroleum Products
Distribution Company, and Engineer Laith Mahdi of the IT department
in the company.
