Workshop in the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center about the collaboration between the University of Technology and the University of Missouri The Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center held a workshop about the collaboration between the University of Technology and the University of Missouri (IREX) on Monday (10.6.2013) at 12:30 pm on the hall of seminars and conferences in the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center. Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, the president of the University of Technology, and the committee members of this program have attended this workshop. They have addressed all the details of this program including the seminars and workshop that held in the University of Missouri. Currently, it has done approximately 85% of these seminars and workshops. Prof. Dr. Amin Douai has given his opinion about this collaboration and the way to develop it. In addition, he has recommended a lot of lecturer from the University of Technology to train in this program. Finally, this workshop has come out with a lot of recommendations such as spread out the knowledge of the nanotechnology on all the levels and the University of Technology including all the departments. In this case, the University of Technology will be the first university in this field in the near future
Workshop in the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center about the Policy of the Scientific Research in Small Size and Large Applications Under the Sponsorships of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center has held the workshop entitled: ((Nanotechnology- Scientific Research Policy in Small Size and Large Applications)) This workshop as held on 03.13.2013 and dealt with several scientific topics such as: 1. Create a cluster of researchers, physicians, and engineers who interested in science and technology of Nanotechnology. Also, find vacancies, scientific and technical communication, including through the exchange of expertise in this field. 2. Review the latest technological developments and scientific in nanotechnology as well as the risks arising from the side effects on the health of the community. The recommendations of this workshop were as follows: Contribute to the consolidation of sustainable development concepts in science and technology in terms of creating a cluster for researchers, academics physicians, and engineers who interested in science and technology for the Nanotechnology. Also, create an opportunities for interaction in scientific and technical communication through the exchange of experiences in this field. |
