Instructor from the department of control and systems Engineering publishes a search for a robut control of pendulum

 

Assit.Prof. Dr. Hazim Ibrahim Ali from the department of department of control Engineering and systems and researcher Zain  Al Abdeen Mohameed Shareef  published a research in the Nahrain Journal of Engineering sciences (Robust  Controller Design for two Wheeled Inverted Pendulum System )In this research, a solid control of an inverted two _wheeled pendulum system was designed . In the first stage, a retroactive control was designed for all system variables using the H2 method for stabilizing the tilt of the pendulum system inverted from the vertical position .In the second stage , the H controller is designed for the stable system . The mathematical model of the system is represented by the Newton method .The results show that the proposed controller can compensate for the changes that occur in the system transactions and the desired time response specifications  .
