Minister of Water Resources calls for convening a workshop about governmental contracts in collaboration with the University of Technology

 His Excellency , the Minister of Water Resources ,the engineer Mohsen Al-Shammari called for cooperation with the University of Technology - Department of Building and Construction Engineering to convene a workshop to coordinate the scientific efforts to put a national contexts that will be depended by all ministries and relevant institutions with respect to governmental contracts , assignments , qualifications of contractors and characterization of the items of the work and all matters related to the implementation of projects. This happens during a meeting between the Minister of Water Resources and the head of the Department of Building and Construction Engineering at the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Riaz Hassan Al-Anbari , Prof. Dr. Shakir Ahmed Saleh and assistant professor Dr. Wamedh Ghassan Abdul Hussein, the director of scientific and engineering consulting bureau at the university.
The head of the Department of Building and Construction Engineering said that they had been discussing the subject of contracts , their failures , formulas , characterization of the items of the work ,qualifications of contractors and the possibility of unifying the contexts in all directorates of the state through a national effort adopted by the Ministry of Water Resources with the possibility of cooperating with it.
The Minister reviewed the ministry's activities and ambitions in developing the ministry staff in all fields, and his desire to cooperate with the University of Technology. In addition , the meeting included the discussion of instructions and conditions required for completing post-graduate studies at the University of Technology because the Minister encourages the development of the scientific capabilities of the employees of the Ministry to make them acquire experiences , visions and modern ideas that would develop the irrigation reality of the country.
