Professors from Mechanical Engineering Department Publishes a Paper

Dr. Mukhdam Tarek Jehjan & Mr. Bashar Ali Mohammed are two professors in Mechanical Engineering Department at University of Technology. They published a paper together titled “The impact of pollution and cleaning on the performance of the solar cell based on a scientific study” in International Journal for Engineering & Scientific Research which its issued in France. This paper talks about scientific study for the impact of air pollution from Vehicles movement in high roads on the performance of solar cells. This study showed that air pollution resulted from Vehicles movement can decrease the performance of a solar cell. The study concluded that there is a high potential for using solar cell in Iraq environment instead of Generators operating with gasoline and diesel.
