University of Technology signed a scientific
cooperation with the organization "IREX" International Research Exchange
Council on Monday, 12/29/2014 to develop scientific and academic side of
the professors and students.
The agreement was signed by the President of the University of
Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer in the presence of organization
representative, scientific assistant of the president Prof. Wisam Kazem
Hamdan, Director of Information and Public Relations Department Prof.
Karim Haidar Khudair.
The agreement included making workshops and courses related to
technological incubators, transfer and localization of nanotechnology,
and nanotechnology, energy, quality and training of teachers on modern
methods "problem based, learning".
The aim of this cooperation is to raise the scientific and cultural
level in line with the enormous scientific revolution taking place in
the world.
The head of the University of Technology said: The Ministry of Higher
Education and Scientific Research urges emphasizes expanding the
horizons of cooperation with international universities sober and
scientific institutions through memorandums of understanding and
agreements of the twinning, noting the importance of communication with
institutions, universities and research centers specialized in various
engineering and scientific fields in various countries around the world,
He pointed out that we are serious about the exploitation of this
agreement for scientific curriculum at the university to develop and
keep pace with the ongoing developments in the scientific world.
The university had earlier set up a scientific cooperation with this
organization through the involvement of teachers in training courses
inside and outside Iraq.
