The Educational Guidance Unit at the Department of Architecture organized a visit to the Dar Al- Zour orphanage on 19.05.2015 with the participation of a number of Academic faculty members , employees and students listed below:-

The (31) of children aged (6-12 years) has been has been recived gifts ,clothes and toys . During the visit many activities has been held like plying , drawing , painted with colors and singing .
The aim of the visit was first to cheer up and to make them feel that they are not alone in this world and they may have a family even if they orphans ,second to enhance the principle of voluntary work and generosity among students who are considered the most important part of this program .It is also to raise their self esteem by helping orphans. This visit may contribute to change orphans lives and open up new prospects and may create a sense of social solidarity which is one of the most important pillars of society .In addition to that this visit may participate in the long term to create a positive impact in the mind of both parties (students and Orphans).
