Petroleum technology department held the carnival of art and poetry
Under the care of the President of the
University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer and within the
program of the department to celebrate with the university's Day of the
fortieth anniversary of its establishment and to invest energies and
talents of youth, the petroleum technology department in collaboration
with the artistic activity in physical education held a carnival of
poetry and art for students of the scientific and engineering
departments, and in the forefront the students of petroleum technology
department at the University Theater on Wednesday, 15/4/2015 in the
presence of President of the University Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer and
Scientific Assistant Dr. Wesam Kadhim Hamdan and Administrative
Assistant Dr. Sami AbuAlnoon and head of the department Prof. Dr.
Mohammed Saleh Al-Jawad and Associated Head of Petroleum Technology
Department for Scientific Affairs and Associated Head of Petroleum
Technology Department for administrative Affairs and number of heads of
Scientific departments and a large crowd of employees and students of
the university.
The program of the celebration began with playing the national anthem
and then the word of the president of the university, followed by the
word of the head of Branch Dr. Aqil Abdullah Mohammed.
The program of celebration included playing on various musical machines
and saying a popular and eloquent poetry in addition to the songs of
Iraqi heritage presented by the students of petroleum technology
department and students of other university's departments
The students that they participated in the carnival are: Modar Anmar,
Mohammed Khader, Ehsan Ali, Bassim Hamid, Ali Fadhil, Ali Ammar, from
petroleum technology Department/ Karrar Al-Jubouri from Electrical
Engineering Department / Mohammed Al-Jawad, Ali Abdul-Hussein from
Applied Sciences Department / Haider Radhi from Chemical Engineering
department / Sadik Talal, Alaa Rahim from Mechanical Engineering
Department and the student Ali Hassan from Materials Engineering
Department.
