Mechanical Engineering Department Opens the Eighth Engineering Seminar Entitled:

“Mechanical Design projects a Step for a better future”

Under the care of the president of the university Prof. Dr. Amin Daway thamir the general mechanics Branch held the Eighth engineering seminar for design projects for the department. The seminar was held at Dr. Jawameer Hall at 9:30 AM Sunday 12/4/2015. The seminar started with the national anthem and recitement of verses of the Holy Quran and Surat Alfatiha for the souls of Iraq martyrs. then the university president gave the opening speech followed by the speech of the head of the department Prof. Dr. Moyed Razooki Hasan. Later, the head of the general mechanics branch prof. Dr. Sadeq Jaafer gave a speech emphasizing the goals of the seminar of providing the chance to exhibit the design achievements of the branch students and enrich it scientifically by the scientific discussion between faculty and students and the scientific participations of some branch faculty. At the end of the seminar the participants were awarded.
