A thesis in Electromechanical Engineering Department at the University of Technology discuss measuring buckling using a sensitive digital sensor under the impact of dynamic loads for the student Firas Ali Jasim.
The thesis dealt with the practical results of buckling conducted on two types of long and medium pillars of stainless steel alloy (304 stainless steel) and it has been used the electrical system alert using a laser while it is designed and built within the examination buckling device, in the moment of reaching the deflection buckling to 1% of the sample along the circuit works directly and it has been measured deflection buckling using a digital device dial gauge. It has been compared the results that obtained experimentally from theoretical results which gave a good deal with a safety factor of (4) and found that Ausys program showed good agreement between the measured values when taking factor safety.
