The Oil Technology Department Hold a Meeting of The Industrial Committee of Experts

The Oil Technology Department held the Industrial Committee of Experts meeting .The meeting attended by the head of oil technology department Assist.Prof.Muhammad Salih Aljawad , Abdul Ali Aldabaj , chancellor of the minister of oil ministry ,Dr. Ihsan Al-Attar representative of the Economic Department and Mr. Hikmat Jaafar representative of Midland Refineries Company in addition to the faculty members in the Department Council Hall,on Monday 20 June 2016.
The aim of This meeting was to review the department accomplishments and providing consultation in terms of curriculum , labor market requirements according to the requirements of the global reliability (ABET) in addition to a presentation submitted by the head of the quality unit Assist.Prof Dr. Layla Latif is showing the department progress of the academic year 2015/2016.The presentation included:
Informative introduction of the department, the objectives and curriculum of the petroleum engineering branch, laboratories and the types of scientific experiments, scientific trips, summer training and students assessment of the program goals in addition to student outcomes.
Industry experts submitted their constructive suggestions concerning the educational program goals, outputs , curriculum fundamentals and their sequencing in academic stages and the importance of scientific trips and summer training for students in the department.
