In Iraqi efforts and facility usingfor AFM research Nanotechnology Center performed maintenance the operation of Atomic force microscope device postgraduate students
Under the direct supervision of the University of Technology presidency and the management of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center the specialist scientific team in the center and with the help of the scientific experiences of the expert Dr. Abdul-Karim Mohammed to achieve the maintenance and operation of Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and what was turned off working for more than two years.
It is worth to mention that a number of sectors and companies,demined an amount of four thousand dollars to switch the machine base to be the maintenance operations. But thanks to God and His praise and with the sincere effort in our beloved university the work has been done without any costs.
The Director of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center assist.Prof.Dr.KhalidAjmiSukar explained that the Atomic Force Microscope is one of the important devices used in the diagnosis of surface compositional terrain of nanomaterials and in accurate and highenlarge force.
He added that the device has entered into service and now is available for graduate students, researchers and research projects.
