A lecture in Control and System Department aboutmoving robot website count by using camera and laser scanner
A teacher Dr. NghamDaiveJamilShalal atControl and SystemEngineering Department at the University of Technology delivered a lecture entitled:
((Orchard mapping and mobile robot localization using on-board camera and laser scanner data fusion)
In discussions Hall at the departmant.

And the lectuer included a dessertation that she is gainedfrom University of Southern Queensland in Australia.
The researcher used a new method in usingmoving robot with its own sensors (camera and laser scanner) to detect fruit trees and distinguish them from other things in the garden.
As well as the use of a new method to identify thetrees location and draw a special map of trees location to be used by the robot to identify its location in different paths inorder to use the moving robot in the collectatetrees information about leaves, fruits and diseases. It has been practically applied the proposed methods by through traids to assesst performance and the obtained results indicate a high accuracy and outstanding performance.
And it has been published every innovative methoes in this research and theobtained results in global magazine of influential coefficient (1.892).
