A Student from Production Engineering Department obtain master about computer-aided evaluation of wear tool using electrical spark process

A thesis discussed "computer-aided evaluation of wear tool using electrical spark process" in Production and Metals Engineering Department at the University of Technology to a student Osama Samir Sabar.
The research aims to facilitate the process of evaluate the wear pole computer-aided, which plays a very important role in cutting electrical spark process where it affects the dimensions accuracy and Geometric shape of product.
It has been used in this research a pole made of copper to run a sample of iron "1005" under the influence of many cutting changes voltage, pulse time of stay," the time of the pulse stops "on cutting electric spark machine.
It is used and applied the method of "Taguchi" It is an important statistic method to identify the optimal conditions to achieve the best removal rate of the metal and less wear of pole. And it has been identified 18 samples of copper pole. The cutting electrical spark process conducted and then re-weights and examines the 18 poles again by laser scanner and save the data in the computer.
The results proved the success of this proposed technology through the matching results experimentally and theoretically that showed a good convergence to achieve the desired goal of the study.
