Student from the Department of Building & construction engineering obtain a doctorate degree with distinction for an innovative way to bring life to the Diyala River
The research aims to find innovative, low-cost, relatively solutions to bring life to the Diyala River, where the river is divided into nine sites for the collection of samples that cover all sources of pollution which .autam river monitoring for a period of one year starting from April 2014 until March 2015 to cover all seasonal changes expected to occur and the final result of the application of design in the search on the river is expected to be the river's water purification so that it can regain its ability for self-purification and thus retrieve his water and, of course, will extend its influence to the Tigris River and the nature of his environment.
It is worth mentioning that the proposed treatment of the river is a temporary solution until they find a permanent solution to the problem of the river and the expansion of sewage treatment and increase efficiency or create a new station to accommodate the overload of the old stations stations.
