Mohammed Shawkat Jassim student received from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology certificate diploma with honors for his project (ground fault in the distribution of 11 / 0.4 kV networks to protect failure) and consisted of the Committee discussion of: Dr Afannin Anwar Abboud / chairman and L. Enam Ibrahim Ali and Dr. Thamer Mohamed Abdel Wahab / supervisor.
The researcher found in this work that the problem in the system of protection of distribution networks in Iraq, the 11 kV occur when Kablo exposed underground to the ground fault in the part located between the fuses and files, high-voltage distribution transformers and that the problem is precisely the lack of coordination at the time of the work of protection handlers to conclusively the main session of the feeder 11 kV where he will work in faster than fuses protection in specific earlier time.
