University of Technology holds a workshop for universities visions for the future and raise the profile of higher education in Iraq

Department of Architecture at the University of Technology held Workshop on "universities Visions for the future and ways to raise the profile of higher education in Iraq - contemporary vision, in the presence of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer and a number of heads of engineering departments and university professors.
The university president delivered his speech including the vision on the independence of the university and showed most of the important positives resulting from the application of the autonomy policy of the university for all participants.
The assistant of the scientific fair put the explanation of the infrastructure of the university and the stages which the university reached at the all fields in addition to the obstacles as well as put up visions of the future of the university with identifying the most important obstacles to do so.
The workshop included two sessions: - the first included a discussion of improving Iraqi universities and improve higher education and scientific research, and the second session was on how to improve the technological level of the university being the first university that got its independence was the discussion of this important axis.
