The Department of Chemical Engineering holds a seminar on improving the reduction of water flow obstruction

Eilaf Khalid Abbas The student from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology lecture entitled:
(Improvement in reducing water flow impedance in nanotubes)
The nanowave fluid contributes to a significant energy and cost savings, as nanowire is added at low concentrations such as parts per million to the solution. These small quantities play a dominant role in reducing disturbance and causing a significant reduction in friction losses. In this study, the effect of nanotubes will be verified as a limiting factor for the disruption of water flow in pipelines. The tested liquid will be water, and the nanoscale fluid used is water and nanoparticles, which will be used in five different concentrations. The experimental part of the experimental system will consist of four different pipe types. The water will be pumped at different flow rates for each type of pipe and at room temperature. Study of the effect (additive type, additive concentration, pipe type, flow rate) on the percentage of reduction of disability and percentage of increases in flow as percentages. The best conditions are calculated to reduce disability in different tubes and in different operating conditions. The results of disability reduction will be linked to the basis of the adjustment using an arithmetic program. The results will show the correlation between the low disability ratio in the practical trials with the theoretical and expected results.
