The manager of the center Dr. Jaafar A. Khadim and lecturers Asst.Prof. Dr. Sanaa A. Hafidh (Chief of fuel energy) and Dr. Raid S. Jawad (Chief of solar energy) participate in the membership of the ministerial committee to handle the organization of working workshop about renewable energy on which solar energy is included.

According to the ministerial command no. 315 on 22 Jan. 2017 issued from Ministry of higher education and scientific research / Research and development dept. where the committee hold its first meeting in Research and development dept. on Mon. 6 Feb. 2017 at 10 AM according to the publication no. 6/933 on 2 Feb. 2017.

The meeting had the following issues:

• Discussion the title of the workshop.

• Discussion the center points of the workshop.

• Overture the departments involved about the subject of the workshop about presentation originality and innovation under the center points which will be treaty on.

• Discussion the location and date of the workshop and the no. of the investors to it.

• Discussion the financial issue of the workshop.

• Any other issues.

 Finally the location and date of the workshop has been decided which will be on Thursday 9 March 2017 in the University of Technology supported by the Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center and sponsored by the University of Technology.
