Based on the principle of cooperation between the University of Technology and government institutions and to achieve the scientific and practical benefit of students, the Production Engineering Branch in the Engineering Department of Production and Minerals organized a scientific visit to the students of the fourth stage to the heavy engineering equipment company located in the refinery of the session. The visit included a tour of the company to introduce the students to the training unit for welders within the training and development department, to identify the specialized welding workshops, and to visit the heavy equipment factory, which includes workshops for the production of tanks of different sizes up to 55 meters in addition to production of pressure equipment and gas filling tanks.

The workshop was visited by the mechanical workshop, which includes metalworking machines of various types, the occupational safety department and the water purification unit in the company.
