Msc Student Tholfaqar Nasser, from Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, discussed his thesis "HIGH PERFORMANCE LUBRICATING OIL FOR MILITARY TANKS APPLICATION BY USING DIFFERENT NANOPARTICLES"

The discussion was held in DAR AL SALAM hall at the department on Nov., 8, 2018.

The discussion committee was chaired by Asst.Prof.Dr.Adnan Abdul-Jabbar and membership of Asst.Prof.Dr.Saad Hansh and Asst.Prof.Dr.Walaa Abdul-Hadi, supervised by Asst.Prof.Dr.Khalid Ajmi and Prof.Dr.Abdul-Hassan Abd Karam Allah.

The researcher showed in this study, two types of multi-walled carbon nano tubes (MWCNTs1) and (MWCNTs2) were produced from two liquid hydrocarbons (H.Cs.1 and H.Cs.2). The production process involved fuel combustion in a special combustion unit designed for this purpose.
