In
the framework of scientific openness of the University of
technology with the field work, the department concluded a
memorandum of understanding of joint scientific with the Iraqi
Drilling Company / Oil Ministry on 02.10.2012 in the presence of
Dr. Mohammed
Yahya Al-Ani,
the scientific
assistant to
the university president
and the department President Dr. Mohammed
Saleh Al-Jawad and Deputies to department president for the
Scientific and administrative Affairs and some faculty members
at the Hall of the Department.
The president of the Departemnt said that
the memorandum of understanding scientific have included several
themes in the field of initial studies and senior scientific
research and training, conferences, seminars and joint seminars
where longer allocate drilling oil wells of disciplines
important oil and gas industry came this note for openness on
the latest developments of Scientific and technological advances
in this vital area and to communicate scientific investigation
of our academic institutions with work sites face technical to
Iraq and engineering for our national on the other hand.
The representative of the Director
General of the Iraqi Drilling Company chief engineer Mr.
Mohammed Al-Zubaidi said that the memo is a good initiative for
cooperation between the Drilling Company / one of the formations
of the Ministry of Oil and the University of Technology,
especially as the department talk to support and entrusting the
section of the face and supplying oil sector cadres specialized
on the other to achieve mutually beneficial to both parties, ..
we need to cadres in the oil industry in the near future and not
in the field of drilling operations only, but in the aspects of
the industrial sector oil as all, so the need arose to the
