The psychological operations department of the prime ministry and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research held awareness lectures to combat terrorism in the petroleum technology department on Monday, 03.07.2016 at the Rumaila Hall in department extension building.  These lectures have been designed to educate and warn students and associate of the risk of terrorist groups and their extremist views and narratives and deployment of murder, and intimidation of the Takfiri Fatwas. Dr. . Munir Rashid Faisal and Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Khalaf have delivered these lectures which concerned about the risk of psychological operations to gangs of terrorist, Daash and the role of youth in promoting national security, pointing out that the selection of Iraqi universities to lay down such lectures because they are centers for the thought industry of the Iraqi youth who  is able to address the risks and face special challenges that Iraq is being subjected to the most brutal terrorist threat in the entire world. The universities' students are the most capable group to help the state to address this threat.

Finally, the door of discussion was opened with the department students which resulted in  a positive outcome. The lectures have been attended by Associate Scientific Dr. Ahmed Abdallah Ramadan and head of branch Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hassan and a number of faculty and Associates and a large gathering of department students.
