Under the support of his excellence the president of university
of technology (Prof. Dr. Kahtan Khalef Alkhazraji), the
department of petroleum technology carried out on Tuesday, 22 of
February 2011 a seminar entitled:
(The oil industry in Iraqi and the development of human
resources for the future planning of Oil Ministry)
The lecture has been presented by the director general of
training and developing directorate in the ministry of Oil:
Chief Expert/ Mohammed Redha Hashim.
The lecturer browsed the important development which has been
achieved at the ministry of oil for the purpose of increasing
Iraqi oil exporting capabilities. He also mentioned the
initiative of the oil ministry for the contracting proposal with
university students including the students of the department of
petroleum technology.
In addition, the president of university of technology assured
on the necessity of providing the training chances for the
students in the working field to enhance the practical side and
meet the summer training requirements for the university
students.
On the other hand, the president of the petroleum technology
department (Dr. Khalid Ajmi Suker) expressed his gratitude to
the efforts of the ministry of oil which is seeking constant
communication with academic institutions for the promotion of
oil industry in Iraq.
At the end of the seminar, the president of the university
presented a mural thanks and appreciation for the lecturer as a
valuation for the scientific support and efforts from the
ministry of oil/training and developing directorate.
