A discussion seminar about the economics of gas and oil in Iraq

Under the support of his excellence the university president (Dr. Kahtan Khalif Alkhazraji) and with the cooperation with the Iraqi – British Energy Institute in United Kingdom, the department of petroleum technology has held a discussion seminar on Sunday 6^th of March 2011. The president of the institute Professor Luai Alkhatib gave a lecture which discussed the most important scientific methods to calculate and account the economics of world’s oil and the definition of the important factors affecting the market economy.
On this meeting the audience has participated in the subject discussion and raised a number of questions which enriched the subject in its entire scientific interlocutor.
At the end of the meeting the president of petroleum technology department and on behalf of the university president presented a mural thank and appreciation for the guest lecturer.
