Petroleum engineers achieved victory over the architecture engineers.

The petroleum technology department team achieved victory on architecture engineering department team with result (5-9) in the first match of university of technology championship for basketball.The match started with low level for both teams in the first quarter of the first half of match but the second quarter saw improved performance of both teams to end with equally (3 – 3).The department team succeeded in imposing superiority on architecture engineering department in the third and fourth quarter of the second half of match after the special performance which offered by petroleum teams and specially the player (Ali Haider ) to end the match with victory of petroleum technology with the result ( 19 – 5 ).

The players of petroleum technology department that participate in match is : Mohammed Abdil Kareem , Nawar Qasim , Salwan Sahm, Ali Hameed , Ibrahem Abd Alsalam , Ali Haider , Mortada Kais , Tariq Najeeb ) and led them by the coach: the lecturer ( Essam Najdat Qasim  ) and the rulers ( Abdalla Adnan and Ali Fadil ).
