 Delegation from the University of Diyala pays a visit to Petroleum Technology Department

Proceeding from the principle of scientific communication between the universities of Iraq, a delegation from the Faculty of Science at the University of Diyala paid a visit to the Petroleum Technology Department on Tuesday, March, 13th, 2012, for the underlying purpose of scientific understanding. The delegation included Dean of the Science Faculty (Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak), Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (A. M. D. Karim Hassan Heneksh) and Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs (Dr. Salah Nuri al-Farhan).

The visit is in order to activate the joint scientific cooperation between the PT Department and Faculty of Science at the University of Diyala and exchange of scientific expertise in areas related to oil and gas. The visiting delegation met with the President of University of Technology (Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir) who expressed the wishes of the University of Technology in the scientific cooperation with the University of Diyala. On the other hand, the associate dean for academic affairs (Dr. Mohammed Yahiya al-Ani) emphasized on the joint scientific cooperation between the PT Department of the University of Technology and the Faculty of Science of the University of Diyala.

Dr. Khalid Al Ajami head of the PT Department said that “the two parties negotiated in order to sign a common scientific memorandum of understanding which includes the exchanging of scientific expertise in the field of oil industries and activation of scientific research between the PT Department and the Science Faculty at the University of Diyala

On the other hand (Dr. Tahsen Hussein Mubarak) declared the intention of Science faculty to develop a new branch carrying the name of the PT Department in Diyala.
