Participated of Delegation   from the University of Technology in the First Scientific Conference of the oil and gas

Under the banner of (Iraq's oil is the future energy  for the world)

A delegation participated from the Petroleum Technology Department in the First Scientific Conference of the oil and gas held by the Oil Ministry in Basra for the period from 26-27/10/2011. The delegation was led by the President of  the Petroleum Technology Department (Ass. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sukkar) representative of the President of the University of Technology (Prof. Dr. . Amin Daway Thamir). The delegation included also all of the ( Dr. Raad Mohammed Wafur  Al-Sadon/ Head of the Oil Production Technology branch) and (Mr. Issam Abdul Jalil Saeed).

The number of participants in the conference were about (28) international oil company. The head of the delegation expressed the importance of scientific communication between the academic institutions of universities and the field work of the oil sectors in order to reach the best ways for the advancement of the oil industry in Iraq.

The Ministry of Oil  (the organizer of the conference) has commended on the great spirit of cooperation and the role of leadership represented by the University of Technology in communication with companies and scientific institutions and the Ministry of Oil.
