 ((Extractive oil industry in Iraq)) Delivered by oil expert Dr. Hadi Alazerg on Monday, 19/12/2011. It also attends the seminar the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yahya al-Ani, a professor Ayad Sadiq Head of Scientific Affairs and cultural relationship and a large gathering of teachers and students of petroleum technology department.

This activity comes within the seasonal scientific program for the oil technology department and on the occasion of arrival new students for the academic year 2011/2012. The lecturer reviewed the history of oil and gas industry through different historical eras, and the future of Iraq’s oil industry which is the real dimension future of the Iraqi economy promising.

At the end of the seminar the head of petroleum technology department. (Ass. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sukkar) gave murals of thanks and appreciation to visitor's lecturer as an expression of gratitude of the petroleum technology department for scientific efforts.
