Petroleum technology department Signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Scientific Iraq Energy - United Kingdom

 

The Petroleum technology department   at the university of technology Signed Memorandum of joint scientific Understanding with the  Iraq Institute for Energy (Which is based in London).  The Memorandum include several themes included the training of students outside of Iraq in cooperation with international oil companies, As well as cooperation in the areas of joint scientific research

, And cooperation in the areas of e-learning (E-Learning), And the establishment of scientific conferences and symposia shared between the parties, , And the exchange of scientific expertise in the oil and gas industry.

at the meeting between the President of the University of Technology (Prof. Dr. Amin DawayThamir)  and the Director of the Iraq Institute for Energy( Mr. Louay Khatib),Dr. Amin bless this cooperation and openness to scientific institutions outside Iraq for scientific communication and the introduction of modern technology in the joints of the educational process.

The head of petroleum technology department (Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid AjmiSukkar) Has stated that the signing of this memorandum is the result of scientific openness witnessed by petroleum technology To keep up with developments in the scientific movement in the oil and energy

As pointed out in his speech: that Iraq is witnessing growth in the field of economic development at this stage so we need to experience all the talent and the Iraqi scientific and academic institutions within and outside of Iraq to build a sophisticated oil industry and a strong economy.

On the other hand expressed Iraqi director of the Institute of Energy Mr. Louay Khatib expressed his happiness for scientific cooperation with the University of Technology/representatives Petroleum technology department    to strengthen the joints of the academic work and joint scientific research through networking with scientific institutions and international oil companies
