Within the  table tennis championship for the university of technology the petroleum technology department received the second place for the second season, respectively after his winning on both the team of Architecture Department , Architecture and Construction department  in the match held on Tuesday, 13/12/2011. The honoring ceremony was attended by Mr. Administrative Associate of the petroleum technology (Dr. Rmazi Sehud Hamid ) Which was held on the University of technology Stadium on Monday, 19/12/2011 note that this win was because of the students efforts (Zaid Ali Majid, Amir asked Hamid, Firas Ibrahim Ammar) in addition to the efforts of the coach department, Captain (Issam Necdet) from the Directorate of Sport Education.
