Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology concludes with practical training program on nanotechnology applications and design of underground oil storage tanks according to the standard API-1615

Within the scientific programs developed by the University of Technology in the service of society and support the economic programs of our beloved country, Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center at the University organized a training program on (Nanotechnology applications and design of underground oil tanks according to the standard API-1615) for the period 25/9/2016 till 06/10/2016. It has participated in the program 20 trainees from the oil sector experts. During the program take a series of scientific lectures theoretical and practical by Assist. Prof.  Dr. Khalid A. Sukkar / Director of the Center in addition to hands-on training labs inside the center by professor's specialists.

The center's director said that the training program focused on the scientific content to familiarize the participants with the most important modern scientific concepts on the applications of nanotechnology in the oil sector and the design of petroleum underground storage tanks ground according to international standards. On the other hand program it included modern methods in the development of engineering skills in the oil sector through the application of the design concept of security tanks and the adoption of health and safety procedures and the global environment (HSE) in the construction of these reservoirs.
