Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology participate in
the work of the Preparatory Committee for the Exhibition and
Conference University of Information and Communication Technology
Director of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research Center/
Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid A. Sukkar participated in the work of the
Preparatory Committee of the patents exhibition of the information
technology that held at the University of Information and
Communications Technology in collaboration with the Iraqis
inventors' forum for a period of 7-8/3/2017
in the presence of the representative of Prime Minister/ Dr. Walid
al-Hilli, and the
representative of the Minister of Higher Education and scientific
research Prof. Dr. Mossa Jawad al-Moussawi,
and the President of the University of Information and
Communications Technology/ Prof. Dr. Abass Al-Bakri and gentlemen
universities presidents and directors in the ministry and deans,
researchers and lecturers from various institutions.
Nanotechnology Research Center participated in two projects.
the first project on the applications of the monitoring of oil and
gas using satellite system SCADA (SCADA System) to the researchers
Dr. Khalid Ajmi, Asst. Lecturer Malik Abdul Hassan, Asst. Lecturer
Aus Abdullah. The second project on the use of optical fiber in the
control and monitoring of oil pipelines to the researchers Dr.
Khalid Ajami, Dr. Suaad Mahmoud Kadhum, Nooralhuda Hassan Jabbar
from the Department of laser and optoelectronics engineering.
The
delegation of the University of Technology was headed by Prof. Dr.
Hala Bahgat/head of the Department of Computer Sciences and as a
representative of the President of the University of Technology.
Participated in the exhibition also both Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayad
Roudhan Abbas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi of the
Department of Computer Sciences, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayad Zuoeni
Muhammad from the Department of laser and optoelectronics
engineering. Researchers and inventors have presented in the
exhibition scientific & applied research that serve the national
economy in the field of information and communication technology.
