In the 1st Karbala Conference and Exhibition of Inventions:
President of the University of Technology: Patents is a scientific
wealth that can be invested in order to promote the Iraqi industry
In the presence of the Eminence of the legitimate imam of the holy
Abbasid Tabernacle Mr. Ahmed Al-Safi and the representative of the
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research/ Prof. Dr. Musa
Jawad Al-Moussawi. the President of the University of Technology
Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir presided the delegation of the
University of Technology that participated in the work of (the 1st
Karbala Conference of inventions) held at the Sheikh Al-Kalini
Complex in the holy city of Karbala under the auspices of the holy
Abbasid Tabernacle in cooperation with the Iraqi Inventors Forum on
Wednesday, 5/4/2016.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the President of the University
of Technology said that patents are a scientific wealth that
represents a distinct scientific product that can be invested in the
advancement of the Iraqi industry through the field application of
these patents.
It should be noted that the University of Technology has
participated in nine applied patents in the field of engineering
and scientific and is subject to investment and field application.
The director of the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Center,
Dr. Khalid A. Sukker, participated And m. Issa Daham in the work of
the Preparatory Committee and the Supervisory Committee of the
exhibition.
On the other hand, the professors from the university
departments and centers participated in the presentation of their
patents, namely: Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salab Hamza, Asst. Prof. Dr.
Sihamah Issa Saleh, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aseel Basem Al-Zubaidi, Asst.
Prof. Dr. Akram Rahim, Asst. Prof. Dr. Allaa Ala-aldine from
Materials Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Wallyd Abdul Razzaq,
Asst.prof Dr. Mahmmod Resheed from the Department of Building and
Construction Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Flak Osama from the
Center for Environmental Research and Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed Saleh
Jawad from the Energy and Renewable Energy Research Center.
