Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology opens the
scientific cooperation with the Oil Products Distribution Company on
nanotechnology applications in oil and gas projects
President of the University of Technology Prof. Dr. Amin Douai
Thamer received the visiting delegation of Oil Products Distribution
Company at the Ministry of Oil to the Center for Nanotechnology, in
the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid A. Sukkar, director of the
nanotechnology center, on the day of Tuesday, 27/12/2016.
During the meeting, President of the University welcomed the joint
scientific cooperation between the Nanotechnology Research Center
and the company of oil distribution products in the field of
nanotechnology applications in the oil projects. The President of
University stressed the readiness of the University of Technology
for scientific cooperation to support the national economy.
On the other hand, the Director of the Nanotechnology Center Dr.
Khalid A. Sukkar said this visit comes in order to promote joint
scientific communication between the the center and the Oil Company
and preparing for the establishment of the first Scientific
Conference of the applications of nanotechnology and advanced
materials in the oil and gas projects. The delegation of Oil
Products Distribution Company included all of Mr. Fadel Abbas Radhi
/ Training Department director and an expert Noor Fares Abdul Ghani.
