Vice President of the University of Technology of Scientific
Affairs, heads the meeting of the preparatory committee of the
scientific conference first international of nanotechnology in the
petroleum and gas industry in nanotechnology center
Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs Prof.
Assist. Dr. Alaa Abdulhasan Atiyah heads the first meeting of the
Preparatory Committee (for the First International Scientific
Conference on Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials in the petroleum
and gas industry) in the presence of Director of the Nanotechnology
Research Center and Advanced Materials Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled A.
Sukkar, the delegation of the Ministry of petroleum, and the
center's professors on the day of Thursday, 2/2/2017.
During the meeting, Vice university president said that the
University of Technology has come a significant stage in the service
of society, especially in supporting the petroleum sector with all
expertise and scientific advice. He added that the Conference of
nanotechnology applications in the petroleum industry is a positive
reflection of fruitful cooperation for the development of production
and keep up with developments in the world.
On the other hand, the director of the Nanotechnology center
Dr. Khalid Ajmi said, that the current conference is one of the
applied scientific conferences aimed at the introduction of
nanotechnology applications in the oil and gas industry operations.
He noted that this conference is held in cooperation between
Nanotechnology Center at the University of Technology and the
Company of Distribution Petroleum Products in the Petroleum ministry
for the period 3-4 / 5/2017.
Annexation of the Petroleum ministry delegation to
nanotechnology center by Mr. Fadel Abbas Radi, Mr. Ghazi chasp,
kadhum Hamid and Mr. Yacob and Mr. Amjad Taha and Mr. Abdul Karim
Turki.
