Abstract:

In this study we conduct numerical study to finding the temperature distribution  along a metal plate in the event that (study two dimension) heat transfer

In this case the general equation for heat transfer as follows

ə2T/ ə X2 + ə2T/ ə y2 =0

The first step to solve this equation is converted from differential equation to an algebraic equation which can solve by suitable programming language to find the temperature distribution on the plate after placing the boundary condition of the issue under study.

Where we solve the equation of heat transfer in two dimensional which (central finite difference) technique and after converting the differential equation to the algebraic equation we can solve the equations by (fortran 90) program to find the temperature distribution for each point of the grid points on the plate.
