Women Global Day Occasion

Delightful occasion took a place at Technology University main theater on 10th March 2016 where several women staff at the university have been awarded due to woman global day on the 8th March every year. The ceremony was held under the slogan of “Iraqi woman is the sign of giving and scarifies”. It has started with Quran readings and the Al Fatiha for the martyrs souls and then national anthem. The university president Professor .Dr. Amin Thamer addressed a statement to the audience confirming, “Life starts from women”. Certificate of merit honor have been awarded to them due to their efforts and loyalty spent to serve the university. The awarded woman for the computer science department were as follow:

1. Dr. Suhad Ibrahim
2. Senior staff Zina Hazim
3. Dua’a Hussein as a student

The ceremony awarding certificates delivered by university’s president Professor Dr. Amin Thamer, administrative assistance Dr. Sami Ajil and dean of architectural engineering department Dr. Wahda Mahmoud. Lecturer assistance Mrs. Ban Kadhem, The chair of the English language center has been awarded too.
