The Department occupies the second place in the university debate program

By the presence of The presedent of the university Prof. Ameen Douai Thamer and the adviser to the prime minister for youth affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Attar and the head of the Department of Computer Sciences Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul Wahab, the final round of the debate program was held on Monday, December 12, 2016 between the Department of Computer Sciences team and the Department of Mechanical Engineering team, the computer sciences department won the second place and honoring the best speaker of the tournament for the student Dalal Thaer, then the student was honored by the Department of Computer Science and faculty involved in the program.
