Department of Computer Sciences participated with its staff and the head of the Department of Computer Science Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul Wahab, Associate Scientific Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Kareem Abdul-Hassan and software Branch head /Assistant Professor Dr. Hana Mohsen Ahmed at a conference entitled "The use of information technology to achieve transparency and administrative reform.", This conference was set up Baghdad Governorate in collaboration with the University of Information Technology and Communications under the motto "Towards e-administration as an effective means of administrative reform".

The conference discussed the employment of information and communications technology to provide services to citizens residing within and to achieve equality and justice, including the confirmation of transparency and efficiency in government action to gain access to a diverse and competitive economy based on knowledge, The Conference was held on Wednesday 16/9/2015 at Cordoba hall in the Mansour Melia Hotel in Baghdad
