Student from the Department wins in the conference is the first of its kind between Iraqi universities
Hawara Ali, Student at the computer science department has been awarded in scientific conference titled
“Speak up Technology”
that managed by English language center where based in the main university’s theater in Wednesday 16th March 2016. The conference aimed to encourage students to use English as main language inside the university. Ten participants have been promoted from different departments nominees in which, they have achieved final stage. Participation focused in several scientific, cultural and art narrated stories. It was played as stories using English language while some of participants were lived in the United States of America.
Hawara’s participation narrated as true story in which it defect the hope and its roll in stimulating human. Wisdoms achieved referring to there is light of hope at the end of tenebrous tunnel in terms of resisting life’s depression.
University of Technology President Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer attended the Conference, English language center director Asst. Lecturer Ban Kadhim Abd, several from foreign embassies, NGOs, academic staff and students. Hawara is a student at the second stage, Multimedia branch. At the end of conference, she has awarded a certificate of merit to honor distinguished for their effective participation in it.
