Postgraduate Discussion Sessions
Postgraduate student Ghadeer Gazi has performed into discussion session on Sunday 23rd may 2016 at the main hall. The student has illustrated his approaches at the first part of her research titled as
“Motion estimation based video prediction system”.
The research focus on element movement detecting into video movies. The research uses the third dimension.
Asst. lecturer Zahraa Abdul Hussein dispatched to the USA a discussion session titled as ”A segmentation-based multi-scale framework for the classification of epithelial and stromal tissues in H&E images” where it included a description to part of her MSc dissertation from Missouri university, Colombia state, USA. It has discussed, the classification and determination two types of cells (Apethale and Stroma) depicted in histology photos breast cancer tissues. Both discussions have run with the presence of the department’s scientific assistance Dr. Aliaa Kareem Abdul Hasan and several lecturers and students.
