The Department held a meeting of the General Committee

The Department of Computer Sciences held the second meeting of the general committee for the academic year 2016-2017 with the presence of the Head of Department of Computer Science Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul Wahab, Associate of Scientific Affairs Dr. Alia Karem, Assoaciate of Administrative Affairs Dr. Ayad Roudhan and heads of branches and Lect. Yasser Munther and the teaching staff where the meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Head of Department and discussed the following topics:

1. Review the instructions between the first meeting and the second meeting of the Commission.
2. Announcement of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the independence of the University of Technology and working on successful experience as the first university to get independence.
3. Registering researches the efforts was thanked by the Head of Department for their participation in raising the rank of published research and the emphasis on increasing the publishing of researches.
4. Finish the Performance evaluation forms and open the door of objections.
5. Discuss the students absences and issue warnings.
6. Determine Thursday, 01.12.2017 the beginning of the first semester exams.
7. Transfer students first level studies (morning and evening) to courses system and the need to provide them more lectures.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of Department confirmed the reliability of the quality of scientific laboratories, including no less than Assistant Lecturer and approve lectures in the department council and pricing the efforts. then branches heads made comments on the exams.
