Staff member from the department attends IT LIVE conference

A staff member of the computer sciences department. Asst. Lect. Wissam Ali Mahmoud stended the IT LIVE conference held at the Baghdad International Fair for the period 10/11 of March 2017. The conference focused on information and communication technology and included the following topics:

First Day:

1. Lecture entitled: Types of networks and their role in infrastructure.
2. Lecture entitled: How to plan for students and new technicians to develop their abilities in the field of information technology and the most important specialties in the field of information technology.
3. A lecture entitled "BIG DATA" and its uses in practice and methods of reducing its cost.
4. Lecture entitled: The Internet of things and their applications in life delivered by the professor (Alaa Hamami) via the WEBEX platform
5. Lecture entitled: The importance of optical network infrastructure and its role in the introduction of the 5G technology.
6. Lecture entitled: The current status of information technology and the expertise available in Iraq and ways to develop the field of information technology.

Second Day:

1. A lecture entitled: The role of information technology in the field of business and ways of success of business and institutions in the field of information technology.
2. Gave an introductory lecture about Zain and its role in supporting information technology and stressed the importance of focusing on the role of IT in busines
3. Lecture entitled: How to manage information technology and its impact on projects and companies.
4. Lecture: The difference between the public and private sector in the field of IT.
5. Lecture on the future of information centers with SDN technology and the most important basics of information centers.
6. Lecture entitled: Development of social communication means and the most important advantages and benefits of social media and ways to protect personal information.

The conference was attended by a number of representatives of international and local companies in the field of communications, networks and information systems.
