Large portion of the elderly people in the community needs a social care that suited them and for what they offered to the country, from this standpoint, the department organized a visit to a nursing home in Baghdad with participation of a group of lecturers and employees, that was on Thursday, 23/04/2015, where the visit included several events like establishing a large dining table for the residents of the nursing home in addition to providing of some gifts and necessities to themThis activity is one of the community service activities adopted by the department for the reflected positive results on both sides: the visitor and the host where the two sides expressed their great joy and happiness of this meeting, which reflects the role of the department and the university in the community. The staff of the nursing home demanded the visitors to visit them continuously to create family atmosphere in which they desperately needed especially after the Forgetfulness by their relatives.
