On the beginning of this year the
department's students and employees celebrated this
occasion(Christmas) with the elderly people in the nursing home
on the 3 rd of
January 2016 our staff visited them ,offering them gifts and
walking aids equipment's, in order to prepare our students in
the way to love and cherish the community especially the
category who are needing special help , our team participated
in many arts competition with elderly people whether it were
Poetry, or literary
words or old Iraqi songs or telling short stories represented
the elderly people live through experiences. After that a lunch
banquet prepared by the department staff attended by the
elderly people and the employees of the nursing home,
This is the
second visit to this home in which the first visit had been
conducted last year. In the end a memorial pictures has been
taken for the hope to meet again, the nursing home managers
expressed their special thanks to the university of technology
and the control and systems engineering departments to held such
visits in order not to forget such an important category of the
community
