The Department of Communications Engineering at the University of Technology was established on 13/10/2015 within two branches; wireless communication system and optical communication system. These two branches are used in the modern technological. The department aims to provide its students with the necessary knowledge in the process of engineering that develops creativity with gentle intellectual and through the development of their skills to solve technological problems which specialized in the advanced communication systems in order to help the student in different competitive work paths. To achieve this, the department plans to establish a professional learning environment for the students to enable them to meet the challenges of modern industrial society by providing them with practical an analytical process to reach the cognition that enhanced with ethics and leadership qualities to overcome the challenges in the field of communications engineering field section plans. The department also aims to sophistication in a spirit of innovation and creativity by its faculty members and focus on researches that go with the advanced technological revolution and the changing of cultural challenges and the link with the educational Institutions of prestigious excellence academic development and the development of the human strength with the support of research activity with the pursuit of the faculty through the development of a program designed to reach down to enhance their knowledge to lead the academy efficient.
