Assistant Professor Dr. Thamer Mohammed Jamil published his first book titled "improving the performance of algorithms and smart antenna system for mobile communications." in a German publishing store. The book contains five chapters in addition to accredited introduction and reference. The first chapter deals with the introduction of smart antennas and a review of the most important previous related research, the second chapter presents the basic concepts of smart antennas, types and how to function them and the most important types of used algorithms.The proposed algorithms,six new algorithms, which represents the development and improvement of the work of smart antennas are a review of Chapter III. A simulation software, MATLAB, is used for these new algorithms MATLAB to get results as seen in chapter four. The results indicate a marked improvement in the performance of smart antenna compared with conventional algorithms. The most important findings have been reviewed in the fifth chapter. ,
